Structured Data Markup is important to search engines because they could better understand about your site. For example, if you use the word “Jaguar”, do you actually mean the animal or the car? As of now, since search engine still cannot understand the content of the sentence perfectly, by applying Structured Data Markup will help search engines to present the relevant result to searchers.
