How To Increase Google PageRank – Google PageRank Table
Google’s PageRank (PR) is one of the most critical measurement when it comes to valuing a site. Many webmasters use PR as a starting point when it comes to discussing how well their sites are doing, despite the fact that PR value may not be translated into a true value of a site. Nonetheless, understanding how to increase PR value is a critical step in carrying out SEO on your site.
As you can see acquiring only few links from high PR sites can dramatically increase your site’s PR. This is why many SEO experts emphasis building quality links rather than the shot gun approach that are carried out by novice SEO service providers.

PageRank Value = PageRank of page linking out / number of outgoing links on Page
It’s important to point out that obtaining links from high PR sites is not the only criteria for improving your site’s PR– The amount of “PageRank value” (also called link juice) that this link will pass depends on the PageRank of a page divided by the number of outgoing links on that Page
Thus having a link from a high PR site and having a link from a high PR page will result in getting different PageRank value. It is not only the quality of the site, but also the quality of the page that matters.
